Boynton Beach Inlet is a popular place to visit to view coral and artificial reefs.  The Boynton Harbor Marina promotes water sports activities for all ages. Of course, since this is Florida, there are numerous golf courses nearby. 

Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge

This is an enormous wildlife refuge that covers 145,191 acres of Everglades and cypress swamp lands.  In order to help people understand the importance of these wetlands, the refuge sponsors a yearly Everglades day where people can learn more about the area.

The Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge is actively involved in saving the endangered Snail Kite.  So if you are interested in spotting a Snail Kite, this is the best place to visit.
